No Good 03:01
It's just simple to know That I'm no good for you I was in a constant fight, in my head to stay or go Did you notice at all That I wasn't myself lately? I wish you said something sooner 'Cause this shit was just dragging Old love Just go And we can't go on like this honey So I'll be the one to set you free So you can be happy without me
2.
Dry Leaves 04:47
Spring begins with the dry leaves left to rake, Cause we were busy preparing for the flu season. Do you regret it now, for not tying up your lose ends from the past? There's always time, so don't give me pointless reasons Upon this rock I remember how firm I used to be Then I caught myself losing balance again It was there concept of time ceased in my head Everything I needed to live has left me mostly dead But wait, give me a minute to confess my crime Not for neglecting my neighbor, but casting aside myself to the ground And all I wanted now was to fill the void that's making me sink This black keeps pulling at my feet until I drown So love the Spring, for she is young every year Instead of lusting for youth that's slowly fades in the mirror And cherish the sun, for she is full of golden hair For one day she'll be gone after her final flare burns out

Regain 04:08
Hold on to the ride, it'll be over fast Then your hats & glasses will fly off before they make the last lap With the rails & the high grounds, you won't be safe jumping off ship It's better to go forward, than never being on the trip Winter's dead & I wonder what went wrong When we changed directions did you feel more strong After all you've been throughout the year Would you now tell stories of your darkest fears Row of crowns in front of me, yet I can't have wear all For every one I add will become my down fall Where's the answer I'm seeking to this overdose of self anointment I can see also panicked from of my disappointment

Retrace 03:44
Over the hill is not as it seems Than what you imagine from your daydreams And If you think there's been a mistake But in the end it's all give and take After the fall will you accept defeat And find more ways to make your ends meet But it's not probable Gathering all of your marbles So check on all the time Was it worth making your own spotlight And I'll see that you Find a way to make it right You sit around drinking bourbon Ruing the things you wish you done It can't be much of a loss If you see not everything has a cost

about

This has been a personal & growing experience to work in front and behind the soundboard I worked a whole semester on. It has themes of honesty, addiction, self reflection, trial & error. It might feel weird and uncomfortable on some spots but that's the point. Enjoy!!
